President Tsai meets Taiwan BIO Award winners, highlights the importance of innovation and investment in biotech industry
President Tsai Ing-wen met with the recipients of the "2022 Taiwan BIO Awards" this morning, February 23 in Presidential Office. Hi-Q is proud to receive "Outstanding Company Award" and is confident in continuing its research and development efforts. Hi-Q's General Manager Camy Wang attended the ceremony and had a great time to exchange ideas with the President and other leaders of Taiwan’s biotech industry.
President Tsai expressed that the government will continue to invest resources and adjust related laws and regulations to continuously enhance the competitiveness of the biotech and medical industry. She also encouraged everyone to continue innovating and researching, so that Taiwan's biotech and medical industry can further flourish and create more welfare for the people. President Tsai also mentioned that the epidemic in the past three years has accelerated the development of the domestic biotech industry and demonstrated Taiwan’s strength in the international market. In 2021, the operating revenue of Taiwan's biotech industry surpassed NT$700 billion, reaching a new high in the past 10 years.
