Founded in 2021 by Ines Schiller, Vyld operates under steward ownership, ensuring its long-term commitment to social and environmental impact. The company has secured a seven-figure seed round through a Future Profit Partnership Agreement, reinforcing its ambitious vision: to mainstream algae-based products in non-food sectors.
Vyld’s innovation extends
far beyond tampons. The company is developing an entire ‘Algaeverse’ of
sustainable products, including Vyndel, a compostable diaper, furthering its
contribution to ocean regeneration and at least 8 of the 17 UN Sustainable
